Lake Drive

This original family cottage was reimagined as a year-round home, with the property rebuilt to better suit the needs of a growing family.

The lake and surrounding landscape became a strong influence on the design. Natural wood, stone, warm neutrals and layered textures create a relaxed, grounded interior that feels connected to its setting. Existing furnishings were thoughtfully reworked to suit the new interior, including reupholstered seating, custom cushions and updated finishes that allowed pieces with sentimental value to feel at home in the new space.

Madyson Interiors developed the interior design from concept through a comprehensive set of construction documents and detailed specification packages, including layouts, finish selections, lighting and plumbing fixtures, millwork, detailed elevations and 3D visualization.

Working closely with the homeowners, builder and millworker throughout the project, the design was developed with a clear and cohesive vision that could be carried through every stage of the build.

Ongoing project support and site involvement were also provided throughout construction.
